The movie benefits from a lot of very good acting from pretty much everyone. The story wasn't necessarily original but it keeps your interest the majority of the film. But the movie has problems and it kinda feels like your watching two movies at once.
The detective/cop aspect and the dirty cops/thugs part of the movie.
