Korine's dedication to the film's aesthetic is pretty admirable/impressive, but while something like Gummo was unnerving and crackling with energy, I found this one rather boring and plodding.
Maybe I haven't fully recovered from his embarrassing cameo on that Black Metal docu I saw a while back.
