Review of Train to Busan (2016) by Stanley C — 25 Sep 2017
Train to Busan is a great different approach to the zombie movies by focusing more on stamina and quick-thinking and planning instead of guns, ammunition and worrying about the zombies' abilities such as able to pile upon each other to climb a giant fucking Trump wall.
This may as well be the first zombie movie to not have any humans shooting guns at zombies OR have any annoyingly tepid, tedious stranded-somewhere-waiting-for-help-and-starving-cause-we-forgot-to-pack-any-food kind of story.
This may also be the first zombie movie where zombies rule at least more than 50% of the screen time. Though other than that, Train to Busan won't win over those who are more interested in watching something that doesn't belong in the zombie genre.
