Review of Tooth and Nail (2007) by Rob C — 26 Sep 2009

I'm a big fan of Michael Madsen and Vinnie Jones. But, I believe Madsen was cast poorly in this type of role. Being a stalker doesn't cut it for him like the way it does for Jones. The general idea of this film is really quite dumb and doesn't make any sense.

Yeah, it's a bit different from all the other "end of the world" type films, but running out of gas? They could of went with the whole Tank Girl plot and worked with water. At least that would of been a lot more believable.

The dialogue was elementary, but we're introduced to some good slasher scenes. Maybe the only thing that works for Tooth & Nail. It would of been nice to have these cannibals cast as mutes. There's something about a silent predator that works up that fear in you.
