Review of Time Runner (1993) by Pamela T — 22 Oct 2009
The "feel good Mark Hamill movie of 1993" (considering he did no other films that year,) "Time Runner" is a horrid affair, even by Sci Fi Channel movie special standards. With the longest running credit intro known to man, a confusing plot that was revealingly bad, and the most ham fisted music I have ever heard, I wish I could have taken a wormhole back to the shooting of this film, (which appeared to have been filmed in the mid 80s due to its bad special effects and foley editing,) and prevented Mark Hamill from making this train wreck.
(Obviously possessing the force doesn't prevent Luke Skywalker from knowing a bad script when he sees one.) Apparently in the year 1993 everything looks like 1985 including the dress, cars and cinematography.
The most satisfying part of this film was when I took a break to take a dump and prevent the further assault on my senses.
