Review of Ticking Clock (2011) by Derek B — 05 Jan 2011
*1/2 (out of four).
A misguided mess of a movie. The dialogue is so silly and the script seems like it is made up the filming is going.
Cuba Gooding Jr is a man who seems to be in the wrong place at the wrong time a little too often. He becomes the principal suspect when several people he is near are murdered. But the real truth my be closer to a young orphaned boy.
It tries for a new idea, but it fails to give any believability to it. I also could never really figure out why the film would show location shots of the city where the movie takes place, but it was clearly shots of different cities. One time it is Las Vegas, then San Francisco, then Salt Lake City and Portland. But the setting didn't change. Strange.
