Review of Three Days to Forever (2007) by Yunita W — 25 Mar 2008
I get what the directors (Mira Lesmana) were trying to brought up with this movie: A whole lots of Taboos that had been broken in Indonesia. Unfortunately, in the end, there were too many ideas and kinds of taboos that were put into this movie that you did not really get to see the characters flourished they way they supposed to be.
The subtexts were okay and could be done better. However, they need to hire someone to do a better job at timing so it came out exactly where the dialogue actually happen and not before or after or flip-flopped.
I also get the part where the scenes were cut and to be honest, even if it was removed, it didn't really change the ending because the ending was not complete. I understood but I'm not sure if most of the audience did.
Overall, besides of the points I put up in the beginning of this review, I believe the movie was just okay. Three stars from me.
