This is a well-done yet somewhat tragic film about a man who goes to Ireland to find out the truth about who his father is. Caan is a single, bored high school teacher whose mother has had a stroke and can't tell him about his father, so he goes to her hometown in Ireland to learn about his heritage. Quinn plays his father in the flashback scenes. It's a touching story that is very nicely acted. The film has a not-so-happy ending, but it's definitely worth seeing at least once..
