Review of The Yes Men (2003) by Rachel G — 05 Aug 2007
The best part of this film is the power point presentation on how inefficient slavery is compared to outsourcing labour to the developing world. I can't believe the audience of business leaders found the argument completely unremarkable. However, it was very refreshing (and gave me a renewed sense of optimism) to hear the reaction of the Australian business leaders after the Yes Men announce that the WTO is disbanding to pursue humanitarian goals. The Aussie business types seemed pretty excited at the idea; good on them!
Could have been better edited, though. Tended to drag on in parts.
