Review of The Witness (2015) by Lawton B — 24 Jan 2017
Very interesting and enjoyable movie. I watched it with classmates in an english course I'm taking at the moment, so having a little exposition made it all the more interesting. Everyone involved with Kitty Genovese seemed affected by her murder in one way or another, and the film encapsulated their stories extremely effectively - especially the story of Bill, and his arduous search for the truth.
Bill brought the human element to the documentary, the element of a brother who had lost a dear sister, and consequently brought life into what could have been a very dull and forgettable viewing experience.
