This film was hated by the general public which is just insane because this film is perfect. THere are very few Horror Films that I think flawlessly delivered, Tobe Hooper's original Texas Chainsaw Massacre being one.
..Robert Eggers The Witch being another. The Witch is nothing like THe Conjuring or Insidious, it's advertised like it is but it's not. This movie has virtually no jump scares, just the skin crawling atmosphere and dread set throughout the film.
Anya Taylor Joy is amazing in this film as well as the whole cast. This my favorite horror film of all time. 4/4 Stars.
