Review of The Trixxer (2004) by Silke B — 29 May 2010
You have to have childhood memories with watching the Edgar-Wallace-Movies from the 60s to find this movie witty and funny. You won't get it's charme otherwise. Luckily I watched all of them, especially loved those with Klaus Kinski, and laughed myself to tears while watching this clever hommage.
Oliver Kalkofe, Germanys most intelligent master of satire, makes my heart jump everytime I see a piece of his work and he does not disappoint me in this movie.
