I really love john carpenters classic. then I found out about this movie. I saw reviews online And the film got very mixed reactions. I then thought I would hate it. I bought it on DVD and watched the movie.
to my surprise I really liked it. it is definitely not better then the original. but it still is very good. however I will say that it had some plot mistakes but that did not stop me from loving the movie.
Mary winstead and joel edjerton both did great in this movie. the cgi was just okay though. I still prefer 80s affects. however I found this movie to be a great fun and cliched ride.
