Review of The Theatre Bizarre (2011) by Flame A — 14 Jul 2012
The first half was pretty good, but from there, the movie really went downhill for a number of reasons. I guess the first reason is that the massive amount of blood, gore and violence was entertaining at first, but after that, it just got boring predictable. Also at one point towards the end, it just got flat out nasty, even I was disgusted and as a horror movie lover I have a pretty strong stomach. The segments just got more and more dull, a couple of them were trying to be philosophical or something I guess, but they just fell flat.
This movie is 1:54 minutes long, but I swear, it felt closer to three hours. I was glad when it was over. Maybe if this movie had ended after the first three segments I would've given this a good rating, but at about the halfway point it just becomes gross and excessive without actually being entertaining.
