This movie presents something that not many found footage horror movies seem to anymore: a good variety of scares. There's jump scares as per usual in found footage films, but there's a lot of genuinely terrifying imagery and some deeply psychological scares that really stick with you.
Also how is it that I have never heard of Jill Larson? She delivered one of the most brilliant performances I've seen in a horror film.
