Review of The Seventh Victim (1943) by Michael N — 11 Aug 2007
The noir-y atmosphere and existential ponderings are cool (the scene with the flickering light bulb and the strange woman with her strange optimism is by far the best the film has to offer), but the script has as much focus as a confused puppy and the actors really look and sound like they're embarrassed to be sleepwalking through some Z-grade budget sub-movie.
