Review of The Sadist (1963) by Patrick D — 26 Jul 2008
Arch Hall Jr. was by far the ugliest teenstar wannabe to grace(if you can call it that) the silver screen. The fact alone makes him the perfect actor for the role of a psychotic teenager in the Sadist(I'm sure his dad owning the film Company had something to do with that too).
Despite the fact that this film had such a small budget, it is a genuine psychological thriller that leaves you at the edge of your seat. This is perhaps the pinnacle of Arch Hall Jr's career, with the exception of his recordings available on Norton Records.
