It feels more like a fashion statement than a serious political satire. It also feels a lot more like pornography than actual filmmaking, not only because of the too many lengthy sex scenes but also because it shares a lot of many of the flaws of that genre.
Still, this over stylised and over indulgent mess actually shows serious potential as an underground masterpiece before LaBruce's eccentricities become tedious and the charge of the film wanes as it progresses.
