Shinkai makes another great anime with that emotional impact movies themselves lack these days. Instead of being a sci-fi movie with a romance subplot, this is a romance with a sci-fi subplot, which at times does make the narrative hard to understand and the reasons behind the actions of the characters kinda iffy, but even then, the core of the film is there and the animation is simply beautiful.
A must watch for film and anime lovers.
