I watched this one year ago today, so I decided to re-watch it. It turns out, there was a lot I'd missed. After the second viewing, I think I'd have to rank this up there with some of my favorite films.
Admittedly, it took that second look to grasp the complex and obscurely related plot, but even so--it's such a beautiful, thoughtful, sad piece. Exactly what I needed today.
