Review of The New Daughter (2009) by Noel B — 10 May 2010

I liked this movie. Although I consider it to be straight to DVD quality it had strong characters and an interesting premise. With a little work it could have been a classic but as it stands it's just a decent straight to DVD.

I was expecting it to be yet another one of these evil kid movies which I do like but tend to be very similar. This one was a little different and had an interesting reason for the girl acting the way she did, unlike Case 39 where no reason is given.

Worth a watch but I'd only really recommend it to horror fans.
