Review of The Neon Demon (2016) by Noah D — 15 Jul 2016
Beautifully shot, dripping with atmosphere and solidly acted, The Neon Demon finds Director Nicolas Winding Refn at his most vulnerable and yet creative with this strange and mind numbing thriller that I truly have not been able to get out of my head for weeks now (I'm late on writing this review).
Not only is this film shocking, hypnotic and downright twisted, but it's really a multi-layered film that requires several viewings to firmly get a grasp on just what the hell Winding Refn is really saying.
I was captivated throughout and I still am! 4.8 out of 5 Stars!
