Review of The Masked Saint (2016) by Betsy S — 09 Jan 2016
This movie contains every religious platitude in the world, some of them two or three times. The idea of the plot sounded interesting, but it was ruined by the worst script writing I have ever experienced.
Even the domestic violence type arguments were poorly written in an obvious attempt to avoid having the characters swear. The police detective was breaking all kinds of laws trying to nail the "hero" for a crime.
The little girl was the only remotely decent actor in the entire film, if you can call it a film. Don't waste your time or your money. There are better made for TV movies on Lifetime or even UP if you're craving some religion.
