Review of The Man Who Wasn't There (2001) by Matt C — 07 Apr 2012
What seems a small crime by smalltown barber Ed Crane snowballs into murder and suicide, and ruins virtually everyone around him. Shot in black and white and featuring a number of Coen regulars like Frances McDormand and Jon Polito, this absorbing but somewhat depressing film is a worthy successor to previous Coen mastrpeices.
