Review of The Legend of Boggy Creek (1972) by Dennis B — 16 Jul 2007
If I ever fight in UFC, the song 'Travis Crabtree' will be played as I make my way to the Octagon. My opponent will KNOW I mean business when I start rolling cigarettes, drooling in my spitoon, frying eggs on a cast iron skillet and talking about some sort of "hairy wild man who stole my two prize shoates without even disturbing the grass".
In all seriousness, this is a pretty atmospheric little gem of low-budget 70s cinema. I was twelve years old when I first saw it. It scared me then and it scares me now.
