Review of The King (2019) by Seanodempsey — 03 Nov 2019
One of the best medieval films I've ever seen, with the most brutal and somewhat realistic depiction of warfare at the time at least from what all I've seen. From people using blunt weapons against armored foes, to using daggers to stab in between the chinks in armor, both of which I rarely see in such films.
The scene where the French Dauphin remarks that they will make Agincourt famous for slaugtering the English army is also a good laugh, if you know a bit about medieval history and battles.
