Review of The Kids Are All Right (2010) by Timoteo B — 24 Jan 2012
Ugh I didn't really care for this film. Caught it on HBO last night and it was okay for what is was. Basically 2 gay married women [Julianne Moore & Annette Bening] have 2 kids with this sperm donor Paul [Mark Ruffalo] who is the father to both of them and the kids want to connect with him but Bening doesn't approve and it's a big bore to be quite honest.
I don't know why they called this film a comedy cause I didn't find anything funny about this film. It was nice actually to see the kid [Josh Hutcherson] from Firehouse Dog & Zathura finally doing some grown up films instead all that kid's stuff, which I enjoy but it's nice to see something different.
The actress who played Alice in Alice In Wonderland [Mia Wasikowska] was actually pretty entertaining and keep me interested in what was going to happen. Thank God cause I was about to fall asleep. Total RENTAL and I'm glad I caught it on HBO so I can remove it from my Q on Netflix.
