Review of The Illusionist (2009) by 000 0 — 09 Mar 2011
A beautifully made, subtle and enchanting film about an unlikely friendship between a struggling French illusionist and a wee Scottish lass. There's hardly any dialogue or plot, but The Illusionist is such an artistic triumph that it doesn't need either to be enjoyable.
A great film to relax to, and a must for fans of Edinburgh.
