Review of The Hound of the Baskervilles (1939) by Gary C — 31 Jan 2008
Simply the definative Sherlock Holmes movie of all time. Nothing is nearly as good as watching Basil Rathbone and Nigel Bruce playing the parts even if they are not as true to the books and somehow Watson comes across a tad bit more wimpy than he should have been.
This specific title bears watching and re-watching, the detail for its period is superb.
