Review of The Holy Girl (2004) by Sherri E — 20 Dec 2008

I watch a lot of Spanish Language films as I have interest in and speak and practice Spanish. I enjoyed this movie but is not without faults. All told I liked the movie overall but it is kind of slow and the ending is a NON Ending.

The storyline itself was interesting enough and really its quite a beautiful film and beautifully told. I really was not bored even a minute or two. You can read some other review to study more about the plot. I understand this is the directors second film, and it really is impressive. The film is really a quite realistic slice of life and it is interesting though it does move slowly. I was going to rate this a 6 but decided a 7 or even 8 is more appropriate.
