The puppeteering work MAKES this film. They clearly put time, effort and expertise into executing this idea. McCarthy, Rudolph and Joel McHale all shine as the human performers in the film and the showcase scenes (McCarthy's fight scene, the sex scene in the office) are so outrageously funny.
