All hail the Godess Angelica Houston for re-inventing this role. It is still one of the best movies in my collection: twisted, disturbing, and fascinating it has a psychological intensity unparalleled in any film of today.
Mamett's art is that of the genius behind film noir like D.O.A. and The Invisible Man.
