Review of The Great Silence (1968) by Michael G — 13 Jun 2007
An incredibly well-done spaghetti western. Completely dismal and depressing although it's absolutely beautiful. It takes a little while to get off the ground, but once it gets going it's totally worthwhile.
This has easily got to be one of the darkest endings I've ever seen in a movie and it left me almost completely speechless.
