Review of The Great New Wonderful (2005) by Kyle R — 25 Jan 2008
Generally, the acting was above average and I enjoyed the cast, but the movie did not tie together like it should have. Instead, the various stories in the film pretty much stayed separate with only a general background story to remind you that all of these pieces were in the same movie.
I felt like I was missing something the entire movie, but I later realize that I wasn't really missing anything and that the film just left a lot to be desired. In short, simplicity hurt this film, and Stephen Colbert should be in more movies.
