Review of The Gore Gore Girls (1972) by Sean C — 30 Dec 2007
This was the last Herschell Gordon Lewis movie, until he came out of retirement a couple of years ago to make the sequel to Bloodfeast. I think it might be one one of his best. I guess that's an odd word to use for his movies.
They are all so overly melodramatic and the violence is so obviously fake that they are always fun for me to watch. Sometimes I wish I could have seen these movies at a crappy drive in in the 1960s or a sleazy run down grindhouse theatre in the 1970s.
