Review of The Girl in the Book (2015) by Aïko G — 12 Mar 2016
The mystery in the beginning of The Girl In The Book makes you guess what happened between the two main characters. However, don't expect a big plot twist. The moment the mystery is resolved the film isn't over.
It could have been, it should have been. The rest of the film doesn't live up to the beginning. The 'all is well' ending feels fake and I had the feeling it was there to simply make the film end well.
