Review of The Emperor's Naked Army Marches On (1987) by Ian I — 07 Jun 2007
In 1986, a 62-year old man begins a mission to confront the army officers responsible for his brother's pointless death in WWII. This just came out on DVD, after being unavailable on any format since its release in 1987.
I happened to see it screened for a class, and I have to say I was completely blown away. It's guerilla-style filmmaking like absolutely nothing else.
