"Yuki Yukite shingun" is one of the most gripping documentaries I have ever seen. It follows the quest of a rather deranged but truth-obsessed former Japanese soldier, Kenzo Okuzaki, to make former Japanese officers admit that they engaged in cannibalism during the Pacific War, eating both natives ("black pigs"), U.

S. soldiers ("white pigs") and Japanese soldiers drawn by lot. Okuzaki is a fascinating man, despite his willingness to kill for his cause, and his efforts shed light on one of the most disturbing Japanese war crimes.
