Review of The Element of Crime (1984) by John N — 16 Sep 2011
I'm not totally sure I grasped the story; but, I know that I couldn't take my eyes off the screen. Maybe it's Neo-Noir or maybe it's a crime thriller with dream logic. At any rate, it is a beautiful, stylistic work of art that is masterfully lit and well-shot.
