Review of The Darjeeling Limited (2007) by Matt M — 27 Jan 2013
With this film, Wes Anderson captures the heart and soul of the theme of brotherhood by portraying its good sides and bad sides. It is remarkable how natural his deadpan comedy portrays the three brothers' estrangement, and how complete the film truly feels, with its sophisticated script and tasty colourful photography that makes the film an absolute treat to the eye.
Moreover, the film is full of surprises, from sudden plot twists to notable cameos. Ambitious and splendid.
