What I could not get over was the lack of police. Just goes to show that there is a whole underworld which the general public does not know about (probably just as well!). All of the main charecters were crooks, so you were not too bothered what happened to them.
Although I did find myself rooting for the main charecter to get his money back, after he got ripped off by that confidence trickster.
