Excellent film.
As a teacher myself, I've been in some of the situations that are depicted in the film (even the playing football against students, before the insurance company stopped covering it), and it's awful viewing, seeing the mistakes he makes, how he leads the class into some of its behaviour... and yet, I still felt for him. It's so hard to shut off your humanity in the classroom sometimes, despite how necessary it is.
If you're thinking about becoming a teacher, I would recommend against watching it!
