Lindsay Lohan was pretty good in this movie, and if it wasn't for all the bad press that came out during the filming of The Canyons, I would look at this film as a turn around movie for her. I think the story is interesting, through dark, and there are some really great hooks to the plot.
The middle starts to get a bit boring and slow, but overall I felt that The Canyons was much better than I thought it would be and the ending was good enough to make up for any slow parts in the middle.
