Review of The Candy Snatchers (1973) by Kris V — 16 Feb 2009
Somewhat overlooked 70s exploitation about a gang of unlucky misfits that don't seem to get what they want after having kidnapped a young girl, while a weird mute child is the only one that is on to them, and the victim's father has an agenda of his own.
While the end result is quite uneven, there is more story here than usual in this type of movies, and the grindhouse atmosphere and unexpectedly dark ending make this worth a watch.
