Review of The Cameraman (1928) by Robby R — 29 Jan 2011
My first Buster Keaton movie. I thought that Chaplin's Tramp was the only character in the silent film era that could live on for ages, I was wrong. The Tramp and Buster Keaton's Stone face brings the audience to a completely different level emphatic comedy.
The Cameraman is probably one of the greatest films shot. Keaton running down the streets of New York with his cheap camera and a monkey on his head, what could be better?
