Review of The Call of Cthulhu (2006) by Xymon O — 26 Jun 2008
Fantastic! Filmed to replicate the style of old silent movies of the 20s (when CoC was written), this is a work of pure genius that manages not only to adapt what has been previously considered unfilmable, to to do it in an honest and faithful style.
And it's an amateur production - a bunch of theatre buffs with cardboard boxes for masonry and blankets for the sea! And yet, it's surprisingly effective.
