Review of The Call of Cthulhu (2006) by Dan Z — 08 Dec 2010

There are many ways to make an adaptation of an iconic short story and bring it to the silver screen. The Call of Cthulhu oddly enough follows the narrative of the original story down to the mark. though the movie cannot reproduce Lovecraft's ability to create dread through use of selective language the film is still none the less enjoyable and true to the story with dramatic lighting to top notch special effects for its era.
