Review of The Call of Cthulhu (2006) by Evan H — 04 Aug 2008
The human mind is incapable of contemplating the indescribable horror in Lovecraft's works. Ok, he's a terrible writer, but he had some entertaining stories. His lack of detail has inspired many imaginations to attempt to construe the demoniacal creatures of his mythos.
Call of Cthulhu is very faithful to the story and portrays it more effectively than ever before. Anyone who's ever read HPL should find the presentation in the film well-suited to his style.
