Review of The Caddy (1953) by Robert B — 05 Dec 2009
A lot of folks consider this one of their better films, I don't. The story even for a screwball comedy makes no sense. Martin & Lewis have some strong moments and the ending is OK, the best part being the spfx of two teams of Dean & Jerry meeting Martin & Lewis.
For the large part it was a disjointed effort of wedging in thier Night Club routine ino the film, resulting in the "plot" getting hopelessly stuck in the sand trap.
