Review of The Body Snatcher (1945) by Andy F — 28 Sep 2018
Dreary and uninteresting film set up as a sort of fictional sequel to the Burke & Hare body snatching story. The atmosphere is passable, Lugosi is hardly used and it is only Boris Karloff that captivates.
The plodding nature of the story ultimately pays of in a chilling last 10 minutes or so.
